8 R’N’B Groups That Totally Rocked Our World In The 90’s

1. TLC

We all remember when T-Boz, Left Eye and Chili rocked in the 90s. Unfortunately the group was never the same once Left Eye’s tragic death in 2002.

 

2. Jodeci

The group was known as “The Bad Boys of R&B.” Two brothers of the group went on to perform as K-Ci and JoJo. Lawd I used to sing my heart out!

 

3. SWV

Remember “Weak”?! As of 2015, SWV has sold more than 25 Million records.

 

4. Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men first gained international success in 1992 after releasing “End of the Road.” Their music will always be classic.

 

5. En Vogue

First song that comes to mind is “Don’t Let Go.” That used to be my jam. Whew. It was also the lead record on the soundtrack to the film “Set it Off,”!

 

6. Dru Hill

Remember the lead singer Sisqo and the hit single “We’re Not Making Love No More”?

 

7. Xscape

The R&B quartet had Kandi Burruss and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle who maintained fame to this day. There were talks earlier this year of a biopic in the works but I’m not sure if anything ever came from it.

The quartet had many hit singles. I vividly remember “Peaches n’ Cream” ahh nostalgia.
