Super Bowl Sunday is around the corner, and we know its hard to keep things healthy and clean especially when everybody is throwing regular chicken wings, and burgers, french fries and all sorts of snacks around.

What if you could make something amazing, that was healthy, taste great, and you will not feel deprived one bit.

Why not try cauliflower buffalo chicken wings. Cauliflower is an amazing vegetable, it prevents cancer, chalk full of vitamins and minerals, enhances brain health, great for your heart, helps you to detox should we go on.

To make your ‘wings’ here is what you will need:

1 medium head cauliflower, chopped into bite-size pieces

1/2 cup garbanzo bean flour or coconut flower

1/2 cup water1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon melted butter or ghee 

2/3 cup hot sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 450ºF. In a bowl, combine your healthy flour of choice, water, garlic powder, and salt. Whisk everything together.Throw in your cauliflower making sure piece is completely covered, then place the cauliflower on a lightly greased, nonstick baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, turning them over at around the halfway point.

The sauce

Combine your melted butter and hot sauce in a large bowl. After the 15 minutes is up, take your cauliflower and gently mix it in the hot sauce mixture.

After you are done put them back on the baking sheet to cook for an additional 25 minutes until they are nice and crispy.

Allow the cauliflower to cool before serving. You can serve this with celery sticks, and be just fine for the big game.

Do you need a dipping sauce?

Try this easy one. All you need to do is combine some full fat Greek yogurt with two table spoons of chives. Mix well and you have your own ‘ranch’ dipping sauce for your ‘wings’.
