If you’ve got it, spend it. Sean Combs just spent $40 million on an incredible new mega-mansion. Situated in the Holmby Hills region of Los Angeles, the recently completed “castle” was built from the ground up according to the superstar’s specs.
The Combs villa was designed on a classic European model. The two-story structure spreads its wings with a whopping 17,000 square-feet of living space. The dimensions are simply immense, including eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
In the main house, Diddy can hit the custom gym or kicking back with some friends in his 35-seat theater. In a completely detached building on the estate the hip-hop star has built a fully staffed salon and spa. Life is tough, huh Diddy?
Taking a page out of the next door neighbor’s book, the Playboy Mansion, the Diddy estate also features an acre covered by a lagoon-style swimming pool and a grotto that connects with the pool through an underwater tunnel.
In case you were wondering how much this would set Puff Daddy back, he’s got nothing to worry about. He’s definitely not pulling an M.C. Hammer. According to Forbes, Diddy is worth more than $700 million. Unbelievably, this is just a drop in the bucket from him. Must be nice!
Diddy is much more of a mogul these days than a performer. After launching his own successful hip-hop career, he launched the careers of huge stars like Mary J. Blige and Notorious B.I.G. After raking it in as an investor with Bad Boy Records, Puff is doing a lot of television producing these days.
In case you have an extra $8 million around, you can look into purchasing Meanwhile, Diddy’s Manhattan high-rise condo which still is on the market.
Diddy also had his Beverly Hills residence on the market for $10.9 million but delisted it just a few days away after failing to find a buyer. That residence was a 10,000-square-foot, single-family home comprised of seven bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms.
Looks like Diddy was trying to keep up with Dr. Dre Dr. Dre dished out $40 million on a house in in Brentwood, California, which he purchased from Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady.
