If dark circles and puffy eyes are your problem then we have your solution. I know that sounds like a cheesy late night commercial but regardless of how it sounds any of these eye masks will eliminate dark circles and puffy eyes.
There’s always a different cream out there specific for each problem area, but sometimes the best solution can be found right in your pantry. Some of our DIY eye masks recipes are using simple ingredients, that work.
Here are 5 DIY Eye Masks to try:
Eye Mask 1 – Plain Vitamin E Oil
If you are a simple girl who doesn’t mind using just one ingredient then just try a little vitamin E. Rub the oil around your eyes to increase circulation and tighten the skin around the eyes.
Eye Mask 2 – Milk Mask
All you need for this one is 1 tsp of powdered mil and 1 teaspoon of honey. make a paste and apply it around the areas of the eye that are discolored. Allow the mask to dry for 20 minutes then wash away.
Eye Mask 3 – Turmeric Eye Mask
My all time fave because turmeric is amazing! Mix turmeric powder and pineapple juice to make a paste, apply the paste to your dark circles and leave the mask on for 30 minutes. You can also apply a full turmeric face mask while you are at it.
Eye Mask 4 – Mint eye mask
For this mask you will need some mint leaves and honey. Crush the pint leaves and mix them with honey to form a refreshing paste. Leave the paste on for about 10-15 minutes and be prepared to have your eyes feel cool and amazing afterwards.
Eye Mask 5 – Yogurt eye masks
Yogurt isn’t just great for your hair! If you use plain Greek yogurt and apply them to your eyes, it will reduce puffiness and reduce dark circles. Leave the yogurt on your eyes for at least 10 minutes.
It does help to have some eye cream in your arsenal . Your eye cream should always have at least one of these essential vitamins. Vitamin C, vitamin K or vitamin E. Use the cream every night even after using one of the five masks we suggested.
Another suggestion? Get some rest! We all tend to work so hard and forget how important rest is for our bodies. Use your eye cream, try a mask and go get some sleep!
