Here is the pic refered to in this post

As we muddled through today’s memes and jokes and satirical content about Kim Kardashian’s ass there were so many opinions, some said Kim K is a mother she should never portray her self in such a manner.

Her best friend said “Haven’t your heard about a MILF?” in response to negative commentary about the spread and in direct reference to her being a mother. Kim’s own sister cosigned that sentiment and of course we are sure she had the support of her many circles and family.

Through all of that I did come across one thing that sparked my interest, because as we said explicitly last night, we have seen Kim’s ass on many occasions.

What she did was nothing new for herself, but when you dig a little deeper it is nothing new historically either. I read a great post (feel free to look at it yourself), where the author refereed to Sarah Saartjie Baartman an African woman who was labeled a freak show when she moved to Europe because of how her body was shaped

When she died her genitals and body was held in a museum for display and gawking for years until she was allow to be given a proper burial, check out the Wiki for yourself:

Sarah “Saartjie” Baartman (before 1790 – 29 December 1815 (also spelled Bartman, Bartmann, Baartmen) was the most famous of at least two Khoikhoi women who were exhibited as freak show attractions in 19th-century Europe under the name Hottentot Venus—”Hottentot” as the then-current name for the Khoi people, now considered an offensive term, and “Venus” in reference to the Roman goddess of love.

In the post the author made reference to the photographer Jean-Paul Goude who simply has a sick fetish for black women or women of ethnic origin. He is known for his shots of his lover Grace Jones, remember the infamous picture of her caged up like an animal?

Most of us would say she slayed that picture. It was artsy and there was nothing behind her eyes or even behind his as he tried to create imagery with his camera.

Others would say it was disrespectful, a means of subtle exploitation that needs to be exposed for its sadistic nature. According to People in an article about the couple they said:

Jean-Paul has been fascinated with women like Grace since his youth. The son of a French engineer and an American-born dancer, he grew up in a Paris suburb. From the moment he saw West Side Story and the Alvin Ailey dance troupe, he found himself captivated by “ethnic minorities—black girls, PRs. I had jungle fever.” He now says, “Blacks are the premise of my work.”

The picture of the woman in front of the blue wall above was one from his arsenal that he recreated using Kim Kardashian, and the picture of Sarah might just be the inspiration from where all this is drawn.

Black women have historically been a joke or a fetish to white men, just last week Artie Lange got himself famous for shooting off vile racists tweets about ESPN host Cari Champion. We don’t have to get into it but the gist of it was he called her his slave, telling his twitter followers how he was jerking off to the thoughts of her and his dick.

If we circle back to Kim Kardashian ofcourse she isnt black but she ironically is the perfect pawn in a historically sick joke. The question is, what is more sad? The fact that she didn’t have a clue? Or that as 2014 comes to a close we are still reminded of how much of a mockery we still are?

If you want to learn more about Sarah, this YouTube video is pretty comprehensive:
