We are in the midst of waiting on the results of the Darren Wilson case, who is the police officer who killed Michael Brown in Ferguson Mo but at the same time Brown’s mother might be facing some charges of her own.

Leslie McSpadden is being accused of leading a group of individuals to attack and rob another group of people who were selling ‘Justice for Mike Brown” T-shirts.

According to the NY Daily News:

The Ferguson Police Department is currently investigating claims that Lesley McSpadden brought a group of people — including her own mother — to beat vendors and rob them of their “Justice for Mike Brown” merchandise Oct. 18,The Smoking Gun has learned.

One person was hospitalized in the reported attack and another unidentified alleged victim was reportedly beaten with a pipe.

It was reported that is was about $2000 worth of merchandise that was taken and we can understand her anger on not wanting anything being sold in her son’s name without her consent.

However at this point it is way too soon for speculation but the details are pretty telling according to reports:

McSpadden’s former mother-in-law, Pearlie Gordon, was among those beaten by “a large group of about 20-30 subjects” who had “jumped out of vehicles and rushed” the group of sellers, according to the police report.

Gordon, 54, was allegedly knocked to the ground and repeatedly struck in the head. She detailed the brief exchange she had with McSpadden at the time of the attack.

“You can’t sell this s**t,” McSpadden allegedly said, according to the report.

Lets hope this stuff wont jeopardize the case, but if you know anything about our justice system, it just might. Vigilante behavior is never ok and it seems as if there is a bit of family drama involved. It is obvious emotions are still pretty high and that wont change for a long time. Losing a child is never ever easy.
