Michelle Obama did something yesterday that proves that there will never be a cooler First Lady than her in the White House.
As part of her campaign to get Americans moving she launched a #GimmeFive challenge. What you have to do is post a video of yourself doing 5 active things.
Beyonce did her’s for Instagram and leading by example Michelle decided to upload a bangin’ no nonsense clip of herself working out.
Let me tell you something, Michelle went all the way in ‘you hear me’ (In my New Orleans voice). She does not play with her workouts and it just goes to show that she doesn’t have those toned arms and legs from just sitting around.
We loved her video and we are so impressed with how the Obama’s reach the country using technology and getting real about whatever it is they are trying to campaign about by being examples themselves.
The video has had over 2.3 million views and the editing made for great insight on just how Michelle Obama works out. With that many views a 2 minute video can do a lot to get people up and at it.
She did everything from chest presses with 35 pound weights, squat jumps, abs with ball work, skipping like a pro and kick boxing.
Then she drinks a glass of water as if, that wasn’t even hard! I do not know about you but she sure had me motivated throughout the whole thing.
All we need now is to see Mr. President post a similar video and I think the internet will break permanently.
