There is nothing like a fresh face, I don’t mean a no make up, make up look, I mean a fresh straight out of the shower, just moisturizer, fresh face.

I have nothing against makeup I just find myself not wearing any more often than not, maybe it’s due to a busy family lifestyle, or the fact that I do not have a ‘corporate’ obligation, or a combination of both of those things.

With that said skin care is a huge priority in my life. I try to find the best facial products that keep my skin moisturized and toned but not too greasy, and I hardly ever try anything new.

Now that I am older I think about taking care of my fresh face even more now, and it has become necessary to do a little bit extra, maybe a mask here and there weekly. I love a great mask, the store bought ones are super convenient but you can choose to make one too.

If you are the ultimate DIY’er then you will love these simple but effective recipes for a quick and easy face mask straight out of your fridge or pantry.

I Use This Product EVERY Week!

To my gyals, clay has cured my skin of years of acne proned skin, improved my complexion, acne scars and shrunk my pores. This is the best clay mask assortment pack to try all  my favorite kinds of clay + it's affordable.

Again using your blender or food processor you ill need 1 chopped ripe tomato, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of instant oatmeal. The Oat meal helps the mix to be pliable so add enough to the mix that will prevent the mask from dripping everywhere. Apply to the skin for 10-15 minutes and say au revoir to those annoying bumps.

2. Banana, honey and sour cream – Brightens your skin

Everybody has a banana stashed somewhere and of course honey is always in the pantry, the only thing you may or may not have is the sour cream.

This recipe calls for 1/2 a banana with a table spoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of sour cream. Mash the banana and mix everything together. Apply it to your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Use a warm damp wash cloth to remove everything then a splash of cold water to close your pores.

3. Cucumber and yogurt – For dry skin

This is probably one that you see pretty often, you will need a blender or food processor to help with the mixing so get one of those ready while you grab the ingredients.

You will need 1/2 a cucumber, peeled and 1 tablespoon of plain full fat yogurt. Blend and apply to the face. It will feel cool which is amazing on a hot day or after the gym. Leave the mix on for at least 20 minutes, expect maximum hydration after you remove the mask.
