We don’t know the reason for their bad skin but That is crazy ! They look like a complete different person!30% of healthy food and lots of water + 20% of good skin and 50% of self confidence is all they need!
Because it’s on social media so everyone shares his/her opinion on the subject. Nobody cares about any of the women in the photos personally. However most women have an opinion about makeup and how it’s used. If someone shares that opinion it shouldn’t be taken personally or viewed as hate or shade. It’s just one person’s opinion.
Nothing should be shared on social media that the person sharing it can’t handle other people’s dislike of it. No two people are exactly alike so we all have different tastes.
Beauty is relevant so it’s not seen the same by everyone.
First off it a woman wants to wear makeup that’s her business.she not hurting nobody.2nd sometimes it is the makeup artist’s fault because they cant match foundations to save their life but can do everything else.for example, the lady on the thumbnail is naturally pretty but her makeup artist put a foundation shade thats too light on her.all she needed was slight color correction or evening out of the skin with foundation the same shade as her skin.people need to learn to find the beauty in others.
It’s alot of females out here like that and guys really don’t know what they really look like until one day maybe years later they accidentally see them and wonder what happened to them. Show your man up front your true beauty!!!! Stop hiding with that garbage!!!!! I wore make up once. A friend talked me into it. I NEVER PUT THAT CRAP ON AGAIN!!!! SHOW YOUR REAL TRUE BEAUTY!!!!! BE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE!!!! LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH AS IS!!!!!
Who cares about what guys think? Who lives their life to please men? If a woman wants to wear makeup, how is that anyone’s business? People amuse me with that be you shit. Do you wash? Do you comb your hair? Do you wear decent clothing? All things that enhance our appearance. Come on, this statement is insane. You don’t wear makeup. Ok. You want a cookie for attempting to make women who do wear it, feel bad?
I’m not sure this post is about looking good for a man. Unfortunately not everyone has perfect skin & the confidence to show it off to the world – hence make up. Or maybe this is just to show others who feel down about having blemishes or scars from acne that they have a option. I wear makeup sometimes to enhance my beauty. Not to say I’m not happy with myself. Sometimes we need to judge less especially if we don’t know the whole story maybe?
This post can be interpreted how one sees it. And I stand by my view. I don’t wear it I don’t need it. I laugh when ppl try to put down a comment on the sly. That’s personal issues within one self.
You’re lucky you don’t need it, so you don’t wear it. Hopefully you never will. I’ve got really broad shoulders – I don’t have to do anything on the sly. I simply state my tiny point is all. I’m not sure what you mean about personal issue.
Her face looked dirty asl without the make up. Maybe she need to take care of her skin better, rather throwing a lot of make up over it. But she do look better with make up on
Again, this would be misleading to a man, or woman now, if they only see the after picture have anybody ever seen… I’m Gonna Get You Sucka? I’m just saying
All I can say I wow. I love makeup. I love creating new looks. It’s art to me… I used to wear it daily but not anymore. Some of these women have on way to much product. Which takes several washes and scrubs to remove it goes deep in your pores which causes the issues you see in the before pics.
Not everything we as black people do is right or acceptable. Black ppl just like other races of ppl have opinions. Not every woman wants to wear a makeup mask and she has a right to her opinion and preferences just like those who choose to wear one. Maybe more black ppl should speak out against what’s wrong in our communities so we can stop thinking everything is okay to do.
I’m not saying women wearing too much makeup is what’s wrong in our communities but it is getting out of control. Wearing makeup to enhance ones beauty is one thing but if you have to look like someone other than yourself everyday of the week then you have some deep seeded issues that should be addressed.
Shaniqua Martin you don’t have to defend black women to anyone! Chances are the ppl you’re defending us to will never accept us anyway. We can’t make those ppl like us no matter what we do. Assimilating is not going to make them accept or like us it actually makes them hate us more because we’ve gone against our own culture in favor of someone else’s.
Tina Waters if we were talking about crimes and bad behaviour I would agree with you in not defending everything black ppl do but… This is MAKE UP! It’s something very personal, and it has nothing to do with masks or pleasing man. It’s about a woman deciding, for herself, how she would like to be seen. And no other woman, that knows how much women are judged on how we look, should bash her for it. If you cant say something nice shut up! There are enough nay sayers out there.
Since when did wearing makeup become an issue to be discussed? Lol wow. Almost like wearing weave/wigs. You don’t know the person’s situation to have anything to say about it.
Joyce André the way this works is…. Someone posts something on social media for the world to see. Being that EVERYONE has an opinion ppl begin giving their thoughts, opinions, person experiences. The entire world will not agree with or like what you chose to share with them. If the person who shared it or the ppl seeing it can’t handle the negative criticism they probably should stay off of social media. The ppl who don’t like the fact that these women are so made up that they look like someone else or that they’re misleading potential admirers have every right to say so.
You may think you’re bashing bullying but you’re actually being a bully.
Brenda Matthews false advertising? I did not know women were for sale. I thought those day were over. Anyway Tina Waters saying that people should be kinder to each other is bullying? That’s new for me. What I am trying to say is that we as women should support each other. If we bash each other over smal things like make up, we already done for. I am saying, that being women, we should have the compassion of remembering the unbelieveble pressure we are all under and say: It’s not my piece of cake but you go girl! There are ways of giving an opinion without being hateful.
IMO they look the way people are supposed to look with makeup on. None of them look unrecognizable just without the blemishes and undereye circles. Sometimes for some people its easier to find something wrong with you than to admit you look good and just say they would rather not. For years I would not wear makeup but I never downed/degraded those who did. Now I wear it due to fighting with blemishes and sometimes just for a more evened skin tone.
Dark circles are not hereditary. Poor skin care and the wrong skin care, lack of sleep, eating habits, and large quantities of alcohol consumption lead to dark circles under your eyes.
I wear makeup. .I love it. .no I don’t wear much compared to these women. ..they use a method called contouring. .It’s What a makeup artist would use to create a completely different face. .different shades of foundation n concealer to achieve a lighter complexion. .smaller nose n no blimmishes…if this makes these women happy so be it. ..who cares. .we all do something to alter our natural state. ..
She probably has eczema that discolors her skin so she would need natural treatment such as shea butter or cocoa and a tone that closely matches her skin the mouth are still looks a tad darker with the makeup.
Awesome and if it’s what they want even better. Only thing I would say is to also let anyone your dating see you without the make up early in the relationship. I think that’s the only way to be fair to the other person and to know if it’s you they want to be with or what you look like. No matter if we like it or not a lot of people are attracted to what they see first. Just be happy without hurting you or anyone else.

That make-up is something serious!!!
The ladies look great but the artist contours the hell out of a black nose
Mmmm. Not for long
I rather sleep longer..
That is just pure evil and if you don’t see it some thing is wrong. Deception is evil!
Nice!
Make-up and fitted caps will get you every time. You won’t even know a man looks like Benjamin Button until he takes that hat off. My God.
Trust issues
Is this unfair?
I’m happy I’m not a man!!!Lol
All I can say is wow
Mircle worker!
See this is y makeup is so freaking evil
Picture a man marrying her and waking up in the am to a totally different person!?
We don’t know the reason for their bad skin but That is crazy ! They look like a complete different person!30% of healthy food and lots of water + 20% of good skin and 50% of self confidence is all they need!
Well damn?
I think makeup should enhance… not change your whole damn face
This is ridiculous
Shame
I love and appreciate your comment.
Well if they feel better with make up. Good for them. None of our business
Nothing worse than women tearing each other down, especially a page supposedly meant to uplift women… especially of color. I am beyond irritated.
Why do people care what someone else puts on their own dang face?
Because it’s on social media so everyone shares his/her opinion on the subject. Nobody cares about any of the women in the photos personally. Beauty is relevant so it’s not seen the same by everyone.
But why have an opinion about what another grown woman decides to put on her own face. Why feel some type of way about it?
I’m blown away at the skills of the makeup artists.

I agree
I agree i’d rather have a man love me without it than seeing me with it on all the time 🙂
Amen!

No luck here just Blessed….again personal issues. …..you have a bless one….
Doesn’t even look like her noses are different and so is the chin….smh!
Nose is a make up trick…saw it on Oprah years ago
Contouring can change the way the shape of your face looks.
So what
Wow! Make up can really do magic!
Her face looked dirty asl without the make up. Maybe she need to take care of her skin better, rather throwing a lot of make up over it. But she do look better with make up on
I didn’t say it was dirt. I said her face look dirty ass hell.
Real skills on here
They better take them swimming on the first date
Damn the God for make up cus she need it
no, maybe a dermatologist even if she look awsome with this make up
Again, this would be misleading to a man, or woman now, if they only see the after picture have anybody ever seen… I’m Gonna Get You Sucka? I’m just saying

Yes. All those layers of makeup do not help acne prone skin.
Definitely not ……
Women shaming women… Worse, black women at that. Because we dont have enough against us.
Right?!
Blacks love to shame each other! It’ll never stop!

False advertising is shameful in itself but I’m no JUDGE…those are just the facts

These are contouring sets they all used on their face….Mac has good contouring pallets. ..
Nice
Dark circles are not hereditary. Poor skin care and the wrong skin care, lack of sleep, eating habits, and large quantities of alcohol consumption lead to dark circles under your eyes.
You should look into using color correcting concealers…. Google it to inform yourself and try to find exactly what yu need ☺

I dont think thats her hell i cud be wrong but her neck is lighter than the other makeup dont work like that lmao
She probably has eczema that discolors her skin so she would need natural treatment such as shea butter or cocoa and a tone that closely matches her skin the mouth are still looks a tad darker with the makeup.
I love makeup!
She looks happier though that’s what counts.

I think a man deserves to have an idea what his children might really look like..
