Word on the street is that the creator of our Epic Thursday night line up Miss Shonda Rhimes has lost a whopping 117 pounds and she is telling everyone what she did:

“I just decided I was gonna get it together and get healthy,” she told EXTRA at ABC’s TGIT Line-up celebration over the weekend. “I have some little kids and I want to be around for them.”

“Once I decided it wasn’t gonna be fun, like, I lowered my expectations; it got kind of easier,” she added.

Shonda is 45 years old and proved that you can get it together at any age she changed her eating habits and started working out consistently and the pounds fell off.

“I changed everything I ate — and I hated all of that — and then I hate exercising and I did that, too. I hated it the whole time.”

Even though she hated it she no longer craves junk food, she got over the hump and now prefers healthier options.

Rhimes doesn’t crave the junk food she used to love. but if she does have it she tries to eat small portions if at all.

“I try to make it much less and smaller portions, but you change what your palate wants. I’m suddenly craving fish and salad.”
