From the looks of it, no one will be dubbing Shonda Rimes as a “one hit wonder”. Of course she created “Grey’s Anatomy” and it’s alright but I think most Shonda fans would agree that she killed it with “Scandal”. After finding success with the electrifying series, “Scandal”, the talented maven is set to launch the next big thing; a legal drama called “How to Get Away With Murder”.
Rumor has it that this will have you at the edge of your seat at the word go. The new drama series is to be aired on ABC on September 25th, 2014 right after “Scandal”. The cast is headed by phenomenol Viola Davis but there is also Billy Brown, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Katie Findlay, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber and Liza Weil. It appears a certain “Harry Potter” star will make an appearance as well.
Insiders at E! who have seen the pilot have been singing it’s praises. They say it is a guaranteed hit which will become an obsession for numerous Shonda fans. They predict that it will have people questioning

I wasn’t a big Scandal fan initially, nope I was never a part of the cult-like following. Sure there was all that raw sexual tension running throughout and lots of drama, but something about the glorification of sharing someone else’s husband, secrets and lies didn’t appeal to me, Just sayin.
Yeah People say it’s human nature, reality, the truth about how life really is blah blah blah but I just couldn’t stand it. I guess you could say I have serious hang-ups when it comes to cheatin’ bastards and their floozies (No offence Kerri Washington, girl you sure can act). But once I looked past that and focused on the mystery of Huck and the spy-grade stuff, I could cope.
So if HTGAWM- damn that’s a horrible accronym- is high on detective-like action and all that, I think I will actually become Shonda-lized.
