Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or AHA’s, are commonly found in many skincare products these days. Added to the milk is just lemon which is another great natural source of AHA.

How to make your Milk and Lemon Alpha Hydroxy Mask:
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon full fat milk
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 small slice of lemon
Steps:
- Mix the lemon juice and the milk together very well
- Add the lemon slice to the mixture
- leave the mix somewhere where it will not spill for 3-4 hours. Do not put it in the fridge
- Apply the mix carefully to your face, wear a towel to catch and drippys
- Apply it very carefully on a clean face, taking care to avoid the eyes.
- Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and rinse well
- Apply your moisturizer and voila you are done! If you make too much, use it on your arms and body as well, just rinse well.
How did the Alpha Hydroxy Acid Mask work for me?
I am not a milk drinker by any means but having a little one, there is always a gallon in the fridge at any given time. I made my mix around lunch time and it was ready by dinner.
Applying the mask to my face was a bit odd but I am used to applying mixtures that are not too thick to my face. Just trust that even though it isn’t a thick gooey mask, it works just as well.
My skin was so soft it was unreal, I did not even need moisturizer even though I still put one on for good measure.
