Celebrity beefs are nothing new. There always seems to be a new one everyday. For Floyd Mayweather that may not be a good thing. Seems like he may have started something he can’t end. 50 Cent shared a video via Instagram on August 21, after waking and finding out that Floyd said “F**k 50” and several other rappers. 50 Cent went on to let Floyd know that he wasn’t the one Floyd should be hating. Apparently, Nelly should be receiving all of the hate no surprise that it’s all over a girl, two to be exact.

It seems like 50 could have said his piece and moved on, but that wasn’t good enough. 50 then posted another video in which he sent out a special ALS challenge. This one is not for Floyd to sit down and get drenched by ice water.

This challenge is for Floyd to read one page of a Harry Potter book … out loud … without stopping. 50 said that he would donate $750K if Floyd accepts the challenge. It doesn’t seem like a bad challenge except for one little fact. Floyd Mayweather allegedly can’t read very well.

After 50 issued his challenge for all the world to see, Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club released an unedited clip of Floyd struggling to drop for the radio show. Charlamagne Tha God was timed reading the drop, which took him 10 seconds. Floyd Mayweather wasn’t so lucky. In fact, the recording is bit hard to listen to for the entire time.

This is not the first time that Floyd has been called out on this problem. Nelly mentioned Floyd’s lack of an education. During an interview for ESPN’s Highly Questionable, Nelly said:

“It’s kind of hard talking to a guy who hasn’t graduated from high school.”

That’s just part of what he had to say about his beef with the champion boxer. Yet, that comment wasn’t enough to send Twitter into a frenzy. The jokes have been coming since 50’s video and they haven’t stopped since. Will Floyd just sit back and take it?
