This woman went viral on Facebook after posting her allergic reaction to a humble lipstick. Lily Cleopatra Maurice shows the picture of her ballooned bottom ip which apparently almost choked her in her sleep. She alleges that Cover Girl Queen collection lipstick is to blame.

Lily also shared a video of herself driving to the hospital with her lip fully swollen.
The allergic reaction to the lipstick appears to have affected the bottom lip more than the top lip but we wish Lily all the best in her recovery.

Ouch! That’s a pretty bad reaction. Never had a reaction from any lipstick but I do from some eyeliners. Not swelling, but burning.

I used to swell up when I used certain brands of lipstick.(not that bad). But I did find one that didn’t bother me. My swelling went down within a couple of days. My mouth just itched.

I had an allergic reaction to MSG and only my bottom lip swelled up not the top for what ever reason. So it can happen

This is not cover girls fault that she is allergic to an ingredient or ingredient combo in the product. Hopefully they pinpoint what caused the reaction so she can stay away from makeup that has that ingredient.
Looks like she’s allergic to something in that brand of lipstick. An allergic reaction can happen with anything you put on or in your body. It doesn’t mean that there is something wrong with it.

As someone who is allergic to everything. Allergic reactions happen all the time. Does not mean its harmful to the world. U just can’t use it!!!!
