Michael Jackson would have been 56 years old today if he were alive and many of us remember the exact moment we heard that he had passed away and knew instantly we had lost a living legend. In honor the King of Pop’s Birthday Sound Exchange is releasing a list of his most popular and streamed songs of all time.

They are getting the data from internet radio, satellite radio and cable TV channels, but must of us can pretty much guess what they are because we all have our favorites. Six of the songs from the list are from the Thriller album which many of us have in vinyl form preserved and tucked away safely. Check out the list in order:

1. Billie Jean

2. Rock With You

3. Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough

4. The Way You Make Me Feel

5. Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’

6. P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)

Michael Jackson is the highest earning deceased artist of all time and is in the Guinness Book Of World Records as their top honor for that category. He raked in 1 billion dollars the 1st year of his death and we are still enjoying new music to this day with more to come I’m sure.

There will be parties tonight in honor of the King of Pop with night clubs doing tributes and dance offs in celebration. DJ Spinna is known for his famous Michael vs Prince Dance parties which he takes nation wide, so we expect nothing but ‘niceness’ tonight.

If you plan on going out tonight you better have your shiny dancing shoes on, a sparkly glove and jacket that you can flash around wouldn’t hurt either. We want to know what was your favorite Michael Jackson video of all time, my pick is Smooth Criminal, comment below and let us know!
