Turmeric tea is an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and very relaxing tea loaded with health benefits. It is known “Golden Tea” and has known for its properties around the world for thousands of years.

I use to drink green tea for its health benefits, but now try to drink a Turmeric Tea before bed every night. It really helps with relaxation after a long day while boosting your immunity while you sleep. I will explain more of the health benefits below, but if you are not already drinking Turmeric Tea you will be!   

Basic Recipe of Super Woman Tumeric Tea:

Turmeric Tea is a nutrient dense and warming tea with a Golden Orange Appearance with a kick of spice. 

The ingredient list is simple, and made up of good-for-you spices.  It’s likely you probably already have all the ingredients in your spice cupboard. You will need raw or powdered turmeric, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Ground Ginger, Nutmeg, Coconut or Almond Milk. I personally like adding honey and a little Virgin Coconut Oil.  

First bring a few cups of water to a boil, add in these ingredients above, and let it simmer and warm 10 minutes before serving. Scroll down to the bottom to see the full recipe.

Ingredients


1-3 tsp of Turmeric Powder
1 tsp of Cinnamon
1 pinch of Ground Black Pepper
1 pinch of Nutmeg
1 pinch of Ginger or 1/2" raw piece (optional)
1 tsp of Raw Honey (optional)
1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil (optional)
1 cup Coconut or Almond Milk (non-dairy milk)
1 cup of Water

  1. Blend together Turmeric Powder, Ground Pepper, Nutmeg, Ginger, Milk, Coconut Oil or wisk together.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring to a low boil.
  3. After it is boiling, reduce the heat and let simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. Filter it through a cheese cloth, coffee filer, or fine meshed sleeve an pour in your cup.
  5. Afterwards you can add honey dash of cinnamon for your personal preference
  6. Enjoy!
  7. Note: Turmeric can stain your countertops, clothes or skin so be careful when handling this potent spice.
